booru-viewer - third-party notices
=================================
booru-viewer itself is MIT licensed; see LICENSE.
This installer additionally ships one third-party binary:
libmpv-2.dll
Project mpv (libmpv), https://mpv.io
License GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 or later
Text LGPL-2.1.txt, in this directory
Build mpv-dev-lgpl-x86_64-20260930-git-3186d369f9
Source https://github.com/zhongfly/mpv-winbuild
release 2026-09-30-3186d369f9
SHA-256 of that release archive
9e50057eef0d3c961f21986b7985ed1537add0d17753259ec8fa41e290de8858
This is an LGPL build of mpv, produced without any GPL-only components.
It statically includes FFmpeg (https://ffmpeg.org), likewise under the
LGPL version 2.1 or later, together with further permissively licensed
codec libraries including dav1d and libvpx. Their own notices ship in
the upstream archive linked above.
Replacing the library
---------------------
booru-viewer loads libmpv-2.dll dynamically at run time. It is not
statically linked into booru-viewer.exe. To run booru-viewer against a
different build of libmpv, replace
<install directory>\libmpv-2.dll
with any binary-compatible libmpv 2 and restart the application.
Nothing needs to be relinked or rebuilt. This is what satisfies
section 6 of the LGPL version 2.1.
Obtaining the source
--------------------
Complete corresponding source for the LGPL components is published by
the upstream projects:
